Hiring Process
New supervisors are trained, receive position codes, and are given access to TritonTrack. Please contact Theresa Szlembarski to schedule training or a refresher.
Supervisor (or faculty administrative assistant) submits a position posting using the Employer module of TritonTrack.
The Career Center reviews and posts the position to the Student module of TritonTrack.
Student applies using a resume (minimum requirement) in TritonTrack.
Supervisor evaluates candidates and sends offer(s) using TritonTrack.
Student receives the official offer letter in their Eckerd email and accepts the position in TritonTrack.
Student completes onboarding in the Career Center if it is their first position at Eckerd. Students are not permitted to work or train until they have completed their appointment.
Student completes the Placement Form in TritonTrack, confirming the start of their position and initiating the time card creation.
The Career Center creates the time card within 2-3 business days.
Supervisor received an automated confirmation from Banner that the time card has been created.
How to Send an Offer:
TritonTrack (Employer module)
Select Job Postings from the jobs tab
Select the number of applicants (in green)
Select “Offer Position” (not the drop-down) for each student
Submitting Hours

Login to the Employee Profile (link can also be found in EC-Web)
Select “Enter Time” under My Activities
Select the pay period
Enter start and end times for each day worked
Save
To submit the timesheet before the deadlines, select Preview and Submit
